I bought this to replace a NUC10I7FNH which died suddenly that I used as our local headless server for various things like backups, dns ad-blocking and the like. Given that the 10th gen i7 NUC generally ran hot and the fan was usually running, I was worried this little box would be the same if not a bit worse.
Color me surprised when it runs notably cooler (probably 20C cooler either at load or idle) and the fan only spins up occasionally when it's performing a larger task.
The only complaint I have is that you have to remove the motherboard completely to install the RAM and drives as they are on the side opposite of the board when opened up from the bottom, and the instructions included don't do a great job of explaining you have to remove the rubber feet to get to the screws. But once everything is assembled and good, I suspect that's a task rarely performed.
Short of the odd assembly procedures, it's been a great little machine. It had everything I was looking for at an affordable price. It even runs AlmaLinux 10 without a hitch.
