Excellent laptop, especially at this price. Solid construction, good performance, great display, large trackpad, good selection of I/O. Looks and feels great.
This is my third Acemagic computer. Started with an N150 to use as a bedroom browser, then a Mini K1 for the desk and now this RX16 to replace a 10-year-old HP travel laptop that finally gave up the ghost.
I'm retired and not doing anything high powered anymore, so this laptop hits the sweet spot of price/size/performance.
Keyboard layout (right shift key is small) takes some getting used to but the feel is very good, and the lighted keyboard is a real benefit in a dark room.
As another reviewer mentioned, the speakers are weak but adequate for my needs.
Lack of an Ethernet port means a USB-C adapter is needed. Not a deal breaker, just another thing to carry around.
I used the 2nd memory and SSD slots to bump it up to 32Gb and add a 1Tb data drive. Makes it ready for anything I do these days. Would be nice if this was an option since Acemagic could undoubtedly do it for less $$.
As stated previously, these days I'm a "value" purchaser and this laptop got my credit card number. Highly recommend.
