ACEMAGIC W1 AMD Ryzen™ 7 8745HS /H255 Mini PC

Purchased a Barebones System from acemagic about two weeks ago. Shipping and delivery was good, item was packaged good. Manual included was useless. It assumed the item already had memory, disk drive, and os. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to open it up (remove the foot pads and four screws on the bottom), then carefully pull the circuit board up and break the connection for the wires soldered to the case. Then you can see the sockets for the memory and nvme disk drives which are on top of the motherboard. After that put everything back together and load the OS. Once the OS is loaded, you will find several drivers are missing. I went to the acemagic site and downloaded the driver package for my device (about 2gb), and installed it. Still didn't get the wifi and Bluetooth drivers. I had to email customer support who directed me to download another driver package which contained about 15 packages which could not be identified. I installed all of them and eventually got the Bluetooth and wifi operational. From this point on the system was operating well. Conclusion, good hardware, poor documentation, drivers not easy to obtain but with a little work worth it.

Replacing my bulky desktop computer with this mini PC has been a game-changer. Editing vacation photos, watching Netflix, and even playing Overwatch at max settings (with a dedicated external graphics card) is a breeze. It runs almost silently, unlike my old computer with its incessant fan noise. For anyone looking for quiet performance, this is the perfect solution.

Purchased to use as a media server using Emby. Easy to set up and working well . Already had storage hooked up to an old office pc. This is much smoother and quiet. Great upgrade.

After comparing prices across several stores, I ultimately chose the Acemagic， R7 H255 with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage. This capacity is more than sufficient for both my child's and my own daily work needs.

I'd been keeping an eye on this product for a while, but it was the barebones version of the 8745. Recently, I saw a new model with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage, and it happened to be on sale for Black Friday, so I bought it right away. I've been using it for a few days now, and it feels pretty good. The memory is more than enough for my needs, and the price was quite reasonable. Thanks!
